Argo Navis Marine Consulting and Engineering Ltd., was established in Athens – Greece in 2009 and is active in the Greek, Cypriot, Northern European and Middle Eastern markets.
Argo Navis has developed and offered services related with the Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS), especially retrofit projects, since 2011. More than 150 ships have already been surveyed and 3D scanned, of various types and sizes. From those scans, more than 70 feasibility and basic design studies have been carried out.
By the end of 2017, Argo Navis has performed the detail engineering and supervision for 25 retrofit installations and through those installations came across all challenges involved with BWTS projects' retrofitting works and commissioning.
Also, Argo Navis has several times provided consulting services to clients for selecting BWTS as well as reviewing makers' and shipyards' drawings for newbuilding projects.
Argo Navis is also involved with the Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS – Scrubber) systems in the recent years. Several 3D scans and feasibility studies have been carried out so far, while engineering studies are already planned and scheduled for 2018.

One of the most critical factors for safety, either this is sea or land. Our engineers ensure that the communication systems from SatCom equipment, radio systems and to software solutions are always up and running effectively.

We are well acquainted with all Satcom terminals from Inmarsat and Iridium and are able to assist in every installation, service and maintenance of our customer’s Satcom equipment.
